Post Work Out Berry Smoothie

Long time no post. I've recently moved to a new state with my husband, so things have gotten hectic. Anywho, we're almost settled so I have gotten back into the groove of eating healthier (instead of eating out everyday since we had no house right away). So here is my current post workout smoothie of choice:

You will need 1 cup of 2% milk (I prefer skim, but my husband likes 2%)
1 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder (if you have plain you can put in some vanilla extract if you like)
1 cup of blueberries
6-8 ice cubes (if you want to thicken it up a bit

Throw it all in the blender and you're good to go! It's 340 calories with 35g of protein

I really like the taste of this and can finally eat protein powder (whey + milk = gross to me). If you use 1% milk, the calories drop from 130 to about 120 and the total fat to 2g and saturated fat to 2g. Skim milk drops to 80 calories and has no fat. I prefer skim for obvious reasons, but my husband has trouble keeping weight on him. Maybe I can wrangle him down to 1% one of these days (or go grocery shopping alone haha)
